Why lavender?

You may think of lavender as a beautiful flower with clean, refreshing aromatics, but did you know it’s a multi-use, edible flower? Think of it along the same lines as mint, rosemary, sage, and thyme; English lavender is typically your best option for culinary purposes. The earliest recorded use of lavender dates back to ancient Egypt and has been used for centuries to promote health, wellbeing, and as a way to purify the body and mind.

Today many people use lavender as a dietary supplement for treating anxiety, depression, intestinal problems, insomnia, restlessness, and pain. Lavender interacts with the neurotransmitter GABA, which regulates anxiety, to help quiet the brain and the nervous system, allowing the body to relax and sleep.  More simply, lavender may help eliminate gloomy feelings and give your mental outlook a much-needed pick-me-up and it tastes great!

We love adding Blooming Botanical’s CBD tinctures to just about any drink—the possibilities are endless!
