With that background, Sarah took a liking to creating wholesome, vegan snacks and meals that are not only out of this world GOOD for you, but also plain delicious!

This 2-step easy CBD Beet Hummus is one of them, we hope you enjoy it, too!

INGREDIENTS

1 medium beet roasted
Juice of 1 lemon
2 droppers full of 1000mg Blooming Botanicals Original CBD
2 cloves of garlic
1 can (15oz) garbanzo beans, drained.
Pinch of salt and pepper
2 tablespoons tahini
1/4 cup olive oil

DIRECTIONS 

Step 1: Roast Beets

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 
  2. Cut stem off of beet and cut into quarters.
  3. Place beet inside aluminum foil and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Wrap foil around beets and roast for 45 minutes or until tender when poked with a knife.
  5. Open foil packet and place in fridge to cool for 30-45 minutes.

Step 2: Use Roasted Beets to make CBD Beet Hummus

  1. Place all ingredients in blender.
  2. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes, or until creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  4. Serve immediately or place in fridge, covered, until ready to eat.

Optional Toppings:

  1. Sesame seeds
  2. Green onions
  3. Lemon Zest
  4. CBD drizzle
  5. Salt & Pepper
    Serving Size: 6 servings
    11mg CBD per serving

Using the measurements and ratios listed in this recipe, you can expect each serving of Beet Hummus to have about 11mg of CBD!

Depending on which concentration you use, your recipe may yield a stronger or weaker dosage. For example, when made with 500mg CBD, each serving will have roughly 6mg CBD, compared to using our 2000mg CBD Tincture, which would yield approximately 22mg CBD per serving.
